Life Global has funded empowerment for 2800+ women and aims to empower 15,000 women in years to come.

Women empowerment mission initiated in 2008 by Project ‘Life’ strives to improve human & social capital through economic freedom for less privileged women and widows in villages and urban slums of Gujarat, helping them to become financially self-reliant, socially respected and active contributors to welfare of their family affording better access to health and education for their children.

The programme transforms lives of women living below poverty line, providing hands on training for vocational skills in sewing, embroidery, catering, beauty parlour practice and computer operation, substantiated with free of cost trade equipment and kits for the beneficiaries. Supplementary trainings in self-defence, gender equality, banking & finance; and advance skill training for outstanding performers are inclusive element of the vocational training module.

This initiative has successfully skill-trained 14,000 women by March 2026.
